If you do not have a club rep or if she is unavailable, please contact the Society Secretary.

What is covered by this Policy?
This Policy outlines what personal information the Society collects and holds, and how it is used.
The Website
The owners of this website (GLPCGS) do not collect or store any user information. We do not use cookies.
The Website lists the names and golf clubs of Society competition winners and Society Representatives.
The Society
The Controller of Personal Information is the Society Secretary.
The Society Secretary maintains a list of members (those who have purchased a Society booklet for the relevant year). The minimum of information held is name and golf club. Additional information which may be held includes handicaps, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses, payments made and meal choices, where relevant. Such information is stored in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Personal information is not shared with any third parties, with the exception of information necessary to facilitate matches with the Lady Past Captains Societies of Gloucester and Somerset and the Gwent Mens Past Captains (names of players and handicaps).
Any personal information our members or guests provide is used solely to run the Society and administer its competitions and events.
The information held is used as follows:
To verify membership of the Society
To facilitate organisation of the Annual Society Dinner and any other events.
To organise Society Competitions and matches (including contacting possible late replacements)
To contact Members if arrangements for the Annual Dinner, competitions, matches, AGM or any other events are altered or cancelled.
How is the Information Stored?
Information is stored securely on a computer and / or paper records. Where necessary, paper records are shredded securely
How long is the Information Kept?
We only hold personal information for as long as we have a valid reason to keep it or we are an active Society.
